The Buck Institute for Research on Aging is at the forefront of efforts to usher in a "new era of aging" and shares in the excitement of innovative research aimed at extending the healthy years of life. The Institute seeks applicants who are passionate, creative and eager to take advantage of opportunities to work with leaders in the field of age research.
The Buck Institute is committed to education – our mission includes training the next generation of researchers in aging. Our scholarship programs include NIH-sponsored Postdoctoral Research Training opportunities, as well as sponsored graduate, college and high school scholarship programs. Institute symposia feature international experts and draw participants from all over the world. The Institute also educates the general public about new discoveries and ways to age healthfully.
