The Buck Institute for Research on Aging is at the forefront of efforts to usher in a "new era of aging" and shares in the excitement of innovative research aimed at extending the healthy years of life. The Institute seeks applicants who are passionate, creative and eager to take advantage of opportunities to work with leaders in the field of age research.

The Buck Institute emphasizes a collaborative approach to clinically relevant biomedical research on the biology of aging and age-associated diseases.

The Buck Institute's laboratories are run independently by a faculty member. In each lab, staff scientists, post-doctoral fellows, graduate students, research associates and technicians work under mentors. A research and administrative infrastructure supports all of the Institute's laboratories.

The Buck Institute offers an opportunity to work in an exciting and dynamic environment featuring a world-class group of researchers who utilize state-of-the-art techniques, on a campus that was designed by the renowned architect I.M. Pei. The Buck Institute is located in Marin County, 25 miles north of San Francisco.
